/CZ/ Dasha pochází z Mladé Boleslavi, od roku 2004 ije v Londýně.
Začala hrát před sedmi lety, kdy se stala členkou Czajovna sound systému, zaměřeného hlavně na reggae a jungle. Přesídlení do Londýna udalo jejímu stylu nový směr - od bashmentu a ragga směrem se posunula spíe ke conscious vibes. Stala se residentem v londýnském klubu Cheekee Monkeys a po přestěhování se na jih od řeky Teme přily dalí nabídky na hraní, například v klubu The Telegraph (Brixton Hill), the Vibe Bar (Bricklane) a London Cargo s Trojan Soundem. V Dashině současné selekci najdeme i breakbeat, dubstep a raggajungle.
/EN/ Dasha was born in Mlada Boleslav (Czech Republic). She started playing in 2001 as a member of the local Czajovna Sound System (reggae/jungle sound). With that sound she spent a lot of time travelling around the Czech Republic. Later on started playing on her own, moving slowly from mainly ragga and bashment to the sound of conscious vibes. Moving to the UK in 2004 made several changes in her life - the first resident night (club Cheekee Monkeys, Crouch End), moving to Brixton, playing eg. at The Telegraph (Brixton Hill), the Vibe Bar (Bricklane) and London Cargo with Trojan Soundsystem. The selector's choice has changed a bit as well - nowadays not only reggae, but also raggajungle, breakbeat and dubstep have found their place in her collection. The style is still staying faithful to reggae, though, with her love for a deep heavy bass line and accentuated rhythm.
